Gordon Inlet camping area
Campsite
Estuarine Gordon Inlet sits on the mouth of the Gairdner River, which discharges about 9 400 000 cubic metres of water per annum. The estuary is transient and quite shallow, and salinity levels can be four times higher than seawater. The camping area is on Gordon Inlet Rd, off Gairdner Rd, 20 km north-east of Bremer Bay. With no facilities provided (bring water and stove), the site is tailor made for self sufficient campers who enjoy a secluded location for fishing and swimming. It’s 4WD access only.
