Water-based activities abound at Lake Poorrarecup, 13 km east of Frankland on the Frankland–Cranbrook Rd. Boating, canoeing, waterskiing and sailing are just some of the diversions available to pass the time away at this large camping area on the northern side of the lake. Bring drinking water and firewood. Note that a solid-fuel fire ban applies Nov–Mar, when you need to bring a gas/fuel stove; check seasonal dates with local authorities.
