This caravan park has a good range of facilities in a location that has been preserved to reflect its days as a goldmining boom town. Old buildings have been restored and new ones have been constructed in a style that represents the past. The old Edna May mine site has a lookout that gives remarkable views over the surrounding landscape, the former mine workings and the open-cast mine, which has now filled with water. The nearby Sandford Rocks Nature Reserve, with its granite outcrops, pools, wildflowers, scrub and bushland, is a great spot for a picnic or a bit of bushwalking. Westonia is 316 km east of Perth.
