Matso’s Broome Brewery
Restaurant/cafe
Matso’s is practically an institution in Broome, with its corrugated walls and languid fans. The building was erected in 1900, originally as a bank, and operated in amongst opium dens and brothels, until a fire destroyed the street of ill-repute and the building was relocated to its current location. Today, award-winning beer is crafted at Matso’s microbrewery, and patrons linger around the bar, loungers and garden. The menu includes seafood, rib-eye steak and hearty breakfasts, and is well matched to the beer and laid-back Broome lifestyle.
