This working cattle station welcomes visitors to its homestead and shady camping area, as do the dozens of wallabies and kangaroos that come out to graze. The station is 30 km off the Gibb River Rd, 38 km north-east of Mt Barnett Roadhouse and 70 km south of the Kalumburu Rd junction. Most days here finish with impressive sunsets followed by a wonderful view of the stars. Day tours, swimming and fishing are also on offer.

This campsite is located in Gibb River Road

The Gibb River Rd was originally built to transport cattle from the surrounding stations to Derby and Wyndham. Since those stations opened their doors to travellers, it has become one of Australia’s most popular tourist routes. It provides access to the magnificent Kimberley region and its very diverse landscapes, which range from lush, tropically vegetated river gorges and rainforests, to vast savannah woodlands and open plains, all of which have stood the test of time and prospered despite human intervention. The road covers a distance of about 650 km and should only be travelled in the dry season, May–Nov.
