Mount Hart Homestead camping area is located 189 km east of Derby via Gibb River Road and then 49 km north to the homestead. Visitors to this area will enjoy a true Kimberley experience with a good range of facilities in shady grassed surroundings on the banks of the Barker River just a short stroll from the homestead. Swim and fish the fresh water of the Barker River, stroll through the heritage tropical gardens or nearby gorges, paddle a canoe along tree lined waterways or just relax in the shade of the giant bamboo and mangoe tree. Other accommodation, bar and restaurant facilities available.
