King Edward River Crossing camping area is on the access road, 2.5 km west of Kalumburu Rd. The camping area has basic facilities in a shady bush setting near the river. Travellers to this isolated area have a welcome chance to wash the dust off with a refreshing swim and perhaps even catch dinner. A gas/fuel stove is preferred, and you need to bring drinking water.
