This campsite is located in Windjana Gorge National Park

The walls of Windjana Gorge rise abruptly from the wide alluvial floodplain of the Lennard River, reaching 100 m high in some places. The Lennard River runs through the 3.5 km gorge in wet weather, but during the dry season it forms pools surrounded by trees and shrubs. The range is part of an ancient barrier reef, formed 350–375 million years ago, and hosts fossils of extinct creatures in its caves. The park is a great place for photography, observing nature and bushwalking while enjoying a true Kimberley outback adventure.
