This campsite is located in Coalseam Conservation Park

This park is among the most botanically diverse bush areas in the region. The acacia shrub land, with its sparse understorey, comes alive with everlasting wildflowers after good winter rains; a delightful sight for those who enjoy a bit of bushwalking. Exploring the state’s first coalmine, visiting old mine shafts and learning about the heritage of the area are some of the other attractions at Coalseam Conservation Park. The park is 32 km north of Mingenew, where fossil remnants are still visible in the rock strata today.
