Ningaloo Reef beaches

Travelling from Exmouth, around the tip of North West Cape and down to Coral Bay and beyond, there are sites where you can just wander into the water and begin snorkelling in Ningaloo Reef. One of the best snorkelling areas is Turquoise Bay, about halfway down the cape in Cape Range National Park – you can let yourself drift over the coral from one end of the bay to the other. Another spot north of the bay is Lakeside, where you might see stingrays and reef sharks, and to the south are the Oyster Stacks, which are best at high tide because they’re close to shore. Also consider snorkelling around the beach at Coral Bay.
