This campsite is located in Francois Peron National Park

Renowned for its scenic coastline, with its dramatically contrasting red cliffs, blue water and white beaches, Cape Peron offers visitors the chance to see bottlenose dolphins playing, dugongs feeding, green and loggerhead turtles coming up for air, and large manta rays gliding just beneath the water's surface. On the tip of the Peron Peninsula, this site was once a sheep station. Today, travellers can visit the old homestead by 2WD to experience what life would have been like on such a remote station. Beyond the homestead is a wilderness area suitable for high-clearance 4WD vehicles only. For those who venture there, the fishing can be rewarding.
