Re-branded in recent times, The Monk Brewery & Kitchen features a 12-hectolitre microbrewery and busy bar/restaurant, located on Freo's famous 'cappuccino strip'. The house beer range includes Pale Ale, Porter, Belgian Wheat, Rauchbier, Kolsch and Mild. The kitchen prides itself on incorporating the house beers in everything from sauces, bread, meat dishes and dessert; the brewery's wort, yeast and spent grains are also featured throughout the menu.
