Fremantle Indigenous Heritage Tours
The 90-minute Fremantle Indigenous Heritage walking tour, which leaves from the Western Australian Maritime Museum at 10.30am each day, will introduce you to Fremantle’s history from over 200 years ago. You will hear the Wadjuk Dreamtime stories and learn about Aboriginal whaling, why whales beach themselves, and the importance of certain plants and places. The impact of European settlement is also reflected on, particularly in stories of Aboriginal people at the Round House Prison. Bookings are essential.
