Fremantle Round House

This stone structure was built as a prison in 1831, and you can still be shut into stocks in the yard, if you choose! A cannon is fired at 1pm every day, just as it was in the days of sail, when ships used this signal to set their chronometers. You can book to have a turn at firing the cannon (minimum age 10 years).
