With a suspended wine rack separating the bar from the bistro, owner Russell Blaikie serves food to rival any French Provincial kitchen. Wooden floors, white tablecloths and red walls set the scene, and the bistro-style menu offers a signature charcuterie plate, rotisserie and pâtés, terrines and sausages crafted by head chef Andre Mahe. With 40 wines by the glass and 500 selections on the wine list, it’s just as well there are sommeliers on hand to help. Champagne lovers have not been forgotten as upstairs is an elite champagne lounge boasting a long list of bubblies. Blaikie has indulged in his South-West heritage with the opening of a Margaret River branch.
