Dampier Archipelago beach camping
Campsite
This string of 42 islands off the Dampier coast is home to a large and diverse range of marine species, making them one of WA’s best diving and snorkelling spots. With 25 of the islands protected as part of the Dampier Archipelago Marine Park, the islands’ white sandy beaches and blue waters also make them an ideal location for swimming or just lazing the day away. Beach camping for self-sufficient visitors equipped with a gas/fuel stove and drinking water is available, but access is by boat only. A 5-night maximum stay applies.
