Crossing Pool camping area has a good range of facilities around large shady gum trees on the banks of the Fortescue River, a great spot for fishing, swimming and canoeing. Bring a gas/fuel stove and drinking water with you, and note that roads may not be suitable for caravans. It’s on Snappy Gum Dr via the Millstream–Yarraloola Rd, 11.5 km west of the Roebourne–Wittenoom Rd and 98 km south of the North West Coastal Hwy.
