Blackwood River Houseboats

For an alternative option, why not test your sea legs and stay aboard a houseboat? An ‘A’-class driver’s licence is all you need to skipper once you’ve received your instructions. On board you’ll have everything you need, including linen, bedding and a fully equipped kitchen. All you need to bring are your goodies (food, drink etc), clothes, fishing gear, activities, binoculars – and, of course, a camera to capture the wildlife, including dolphins, along the river. A dingy is included and for a small fee goods can be delivered. There are three different vessels to choose from, depending on the number of guests. Exploring the Blackwood River, you’ll pass Molloy Island and 20 kilometres of unspoilt national park, and if you’re lucky you might be able to join a whale-watching tour.
