Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

Located at the most south-westerly tip of Australia, where the Southern and Indian oceans meet, this is the tallest lighthouse on the mainland, and its light beam reaches a distance of almost 50 kilometres. One of few operational towers open to public viewing, it is accessible only by guided tours, which run every 40 minutes throughout the day.
