This campsite is located in Lane Poole Reserve

Lane Poole Reserve, just south of Dwellingup, covers nearly 55 000 ha of steeply forested valley slopes and undulating woodlands inhabited by abundant wildlife, including diminutive quolls and quokkas. The Murray River runs through the reserve and its ever-changing landscape is ideal for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Bushwalking and picnicking are other popular activities in the reserve, where spring wildflower displays delight all those who visit. Note: a fire ban applies 15 Dec–31 Mar, when you need to bring your own gas/fuel stove; check with the DEC before lighting a fire as dates can change annually. Bring your own water and firewood, as wood must not be collected within the reserve. Fox baiting is common, so dogs need to be on leash.
