A selection of peaceful sites in the forest beside the river, Canebrake Pool camping area is 5.5 km along Canebreak Rd. Swimming and canoeing are popular pastimes here. Rapids Conservation Park is 25 km north-east of Margaret River; leave the Bussell Hwy 4 km north of Margaret River at Osmington Rd, and bring your own drinking water. Access is possible for small vans or camper trailers but not large caravans.

This campsite is located in Rapids Conservation Park

Rapids Conservation Park is located 25 km north-east of Margaret River. The town was originally a retreat for surfers but has now evolved into the ultimate smorgasbord of good food, fine wine and spectacular scenery. Visitors can camp in beautiful natural forest along the banks of the Margaret River, yet still be able to enjoy the outstanding premium wines and food available in the region. Natural attractions in the area include underground caves, a rugged coastline, squeaky-clean sandy beaches, turquoise water and towering forests.
