Fernhook Falls is a small, secluded camping area in the forest. With limited sites for off-road camper trailers, you can stay here to explore the falls area or take a canoe trip on the pristine Deep River. The camping area is 6 km east of the South Western Hwy, with signposted access along Beardmore Rd, 35 km north-west of Walpole. Shelter huts are available and you need to bring your own drinking water.

This campsite is located in Walpole Wilderness Area

Walpole Wilderness Area protects 363 000 ha to the north of Walpole and Denmark; an extent larger than some small countries. It embraces a number of current national parks, nature reserves and forest conservation areas. There are only 2 camping areas in this huge area, both of which offer basic facilities at secluded spots in pristine forest surroundings. It’s the perfect place to experience a true wilderness adventure.
